Financial Sales Associate

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate position supports the front-end sales process, from lead conversion to preparing leads to meet with advisors.

***Please note that we are adding to our office space. We expect build-out completion late this year or early next year. Candidates who have flexibility with their work environment needs are encouraged to apply. We anticipate a hybrid or WFH schedule after initial training, followed by a transition fully into the office when the space is ready.

Job Responsibilities:

Please note that as a small firm, all team members are cross-trained to assist with general office support.

• Reach out to new leads to qualify them and schedule appointments.
• Prepare leads for their meetings with advisors by introducing them to our questionnaire and document submission process. Preliminary info-gathering as time allows.
• Organize incoming financial information in collaboration with the Paraplanner(s).
• Recapture aging leads and prospects by reaching out to reignite interest.
• Support the Client Relationship Management (CRM) process within the firm.

* Potential for greater involvement with clients and/or within the business based on performance and company needs.

Skills & Requirements:

• Virginia Life, Annuities & Health license is preferred. Applicants will be encouraged to obtain licensure.
• Superior customer service to clients, prospects and co-workers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Timely follow-up and closure on daily call lists, tasks and projects
• Discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
• Prioritize list of outstanding issues to effectively handle urgent matters.
• Confident with relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams and Outlook).
• Familiarity with general CRM usage.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
